Bruins' Zach Trotman: Won't return to Bruins
The Bruins plan to allow Trotman to pursue a deal elsewhere in free agency, the Boston Herald reports.
Analysis:
The 6-foot-3, 217-pounder, who the Bruins drafted 210th overall in 2010, will thus look to find a depth blue line job elsewhere after notching two goals and seven points in 38 games for the Bruins last season. While the 25-year-old isn't much of a fantasy factor, Trotman combines size and physicality with decent ability in the transition game, a combo that should land him a shot at earning a spot on an NHL roster in 2016-17.
