Profiled as a smooth skating defender who can make a good first pass, Hronek is reliable in his own end and more often than not makes smart decisions. He can also man a power play.
Hronek had two assists in five games at the 2016 World Junior Hockey Championship, and finished a team-best plus-three.
Smallish at only 6-feet and 163 pounds, he's got offensive upside and plays a consistent game that could translate at the NHL level.
