Canadiens' Carey Price: Ready for World Cup
Price (knee) told reporters Wednesday that he is healthy and set to compete in September's World Cup of Hockey, Gino Reda of TSN reports.
Analysis:
Price missed nearly the entire 2015-16 campaign after making a mere 12 appearances. In those outings, the netminder was fantastic, as he registered a 10-2-0 record with a 2.06 GAA. When the 28-year-old went down, Montreal's season tanked as well, but Price will get the opportunity to shake off the rust at the World Cup before rejoining the Habs for 2016-17. Fantasy owners who have stuck with Price this long should definitely hold on to him as he looks to return to the 2014-15 form that saw him go 44-16-6 with nine shutouts and a .933 save percentage.
