Predators ink Mazanec to 1-year contract

The Nashville Predators and goaltender Marek Mazanec agreed to a one-year, two-way contract Monday, the club announced.
Mazanec, who will turn 25 on July 18, will make $575,000 in the NHL and $100,000 in the AHL. He spent 2015-16 with Milwaukee had a .912 save percentage in 39 games.
Originally a sixth-round pick by the Predators in 2012, Mazanec has a career .902 save percentage and two shutouts in the NHL.
