Penguins' Matt Murray: Hoists Stanley Cup
Murray turned aside 18 of 19 shots en route to a Stanley Cup victory over the Sharks on Sunday.
Analysis:
Pittsburg really gave Murray a lift by winning 65 percent of its faceoffs and putting up eight more shots than San Jose. Logan Couture was the only Shark to score on the burgeoning rookie following a turnover in the defensive zone. Murray finished with a 15-6-2, 2.08 GAA and .923 save percentage in the postseason. With Marc-Andre Fleury taking a backseat to Murray in the playoffs, it'll be quite interesting to see who comes into next season as the No. 1 backstop for the Penguins.
