Penguins' Matt Murray: Could hoist Stanley Cup on Thursday

Murray will start in goal Thursday night, taking on the Sharks at home for Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Analysis:

The Penguins own a 3-1 advantage in the series, and Murray has a chance to shake the foundation of the Consol Energy Center with just one more win, a would-be clincher of the Stanley Cup. NHL.com reports that no Pittsburgh team in professional sports has won a championship at home since 1960 -- when the Pirates took down the Yankees for a World Series title -- so that should give you an idea of how hungry the city is for a Cup win Thursday. Murray has emerged victorious from five of his last six games dating back to Game 5 of the conference semifinals versus the Lightning, a fine complement to the rookie's 2.00 GAA in 13 outings this postseason.
