One of the youngest players in this year's draft, Moverare is arguably the best Swedish defenseman available, as he continues to improve in his country's junior ranks.

The 17-year-old excelled in his second season with HV71's under-20 team, setting career highs with five goals and 16 assists in 41 games. His strong play led to his professional debut with the senior club, with whom he played four SHL games, adding three more in the Champions Hockey League.

Moverare projects as a solid two-way blue-liner with a great blend of size, speed, and skill. According to Steve Kourianos of thedraftanalyst.com, "Moverare is calm and collected in his own end, but don't let it fool you - he can transition from defense to offense in a hurry."

The Kings have selected two defensemen in their draft, taking Kale Clague with their second-round pick.
