Blues' Troy Brouwer: Looking to stay put in St. Louis

Brouwer, a pending unrestricted free agent, is interested in returning to the Blues next season, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Analysis:

Brouwer banked $11 million over the past three seasons, with the 2015-16 campaign his first in St. Louis. He recorded 18 goals and 21 assists in the regular season, along with 13 points in 20 games during the playoffs. Doug Armstrong, general manager for the Blues, will take into account that David Backes is also looking to stay put -- like Brouwer, Backes is a two-way forward but has 10 years of service time with the club.
