Guy Boucher will be joined by a familiar face in the Ottawa Senators organization next season.

The club announced Tuesday the signing of forward Tom Pyatt to a one-year, two-way contract that will pay him a rate of $800,000 at the NHL level and $200,000 in the AHL.

Pyatt spent the last two campaigns with Geneve Servette in the Swiss league after five NHL seasons.

He played for Boucher with the Tampa Bay Lightning from 2011-13, before the head coach landed in the Swiss league himself with SC Bern after being fired by the Lightning.

Boucher was named the Senators head coach earlier this month.

Pyatt spent three campaigns with the Lightning and two with the Montreal Canadiens.

He was a fourth-round pick of the New York Rangers in 2005.
