Panthers' Jaromir Jagr: No-go for World Cup of Hockey

Jagr will not take part in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, Sportsnet reports.

According to the report, Martin Rucinsky, general manager of the Czech Republic, said Jagr wouldn't have enough time to prepare for the tournament, which runs from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1. Still, the 44-year-old has already signed a one-year deal to return to the Panthers next season. He led that club with 66 points in 2015-16.
