Oilers' Zack Kassian: Inks one-year deal with Edmonton
Kassian signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Oilers on Thursday, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports.
Analysis:
The Oilers acquired Kassian from Montreal in exchange for Ben Scrivens on Dec. 28 of last year. The 6-foot-3 grinder drew into 36 games with Edmonton in 2015-16, notching eight points (three goals, five assists) and 114 PIM over that span. The 25-year-old winger's knack for spending extended time in the sin bin will once again be the primary source of his fantasy value in 2016-17.
