Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Clutches up with Game 2 overtime-winner Monday
Crosby sniped the overtime winning goal Monday in a 3-2 win over the Lightning in Game 2. It was his first goal in eight games.
Analysis:
Crosby wasted no time in the extra frame, firing home his first game-winner of the postseason just 40 seconds into overtime. The Pens' captain has mostly been his typical productive self in 13 playoff games thus far, racking up 12 points and 34 shots on goal. He's not the team's leading scorer, as Phil Kessel currently holds that designation with 14 points, but Crosby's leadership and intangibles -- in addition to to his scoring -- make him one of the most valuable players on the ice.
