Lightning's Ben Bishop: Tested leg on the ice before Sunday practice

Bishop (lower body) was able to spend some time on the ice before Sunday's practice, but left before the rest of the team arrived, reports the Associated Press.

Analysis:

There is no structural damage to Bishop's leg and coach Jon Cooper says "he's getting better with each day and it's encouraging to see." It's quite a change from Friday night when Bishop was writhing on the ice and had to be carted off on a stretcher. Cooper wouldn't rule Bishop out for Game 2, but that seems like a bit of a stretch at this point, so look for Andrei Vasilevskiy to get the nod.
