Capitals' Jay Beagle: Fully recovered from hand injury

Beagle said he's healthy heading into the offseason following complications with his grip strength after dealing with a broken hand earlier in the year, Isabelle Khurshudyan of The Washington Post reports.

Analysis:

Beagle underwent hand surgery on Jan. 2, and CSN Mid-Atlantic's Chuck Gormley reports that Beagle told him he only had 70 percent of his grip strength once he returned from the injury. Beagle managed one goal for his lone point in the conference quarterfinals versus the Penguins, but it's not as though much offense was expected from the bottom-six forward in the first place.
