Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Okay after Ovie slash

Crosby, who has one assist in four games against the Capitals, is taking part in Friday's practice.

Analysis:

While it's not overly surprising Crosby is on the ice, he did take a slash across his left wrist by Alexander Ovechkin in Game 3, forcing him to momentarily leave the game. Despite a lack of scoring, Crosby is playing well against Washington and has won 58 of 105 faceoffs (55 percent). The center scored three goals and seven points in five contests against the Rangers in Round 1.
