Stars turn to Lehtonen in Game 4

Jerome Miron / USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Stars netminder Kari Lehtonen is expected to be between the pipes in Thursday's Game 4 against the St. Louis Blues.

Analysis:

Lehtonen has struggled in the Stars' second-round series against St. Louis, posting a 1-0-0 record with an ugly 3.58 GAA and .891 save percentage over three appearances.

The 32-year-old goalie has shown that he's capable of playing well against the Blues, as he was fantastic in Game 1 of the series, turning aside 31 of 32 shots en route to a 2-1 victory. Those looking to separate themselves from the pack in daily contests Thursday may want to consider deploying Lehtonen as a high-risk, high-reward play.
