Penguins' Matt Murray: Stops 34 in overtime win

Murray stopped 34 of 36 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals, moving the Penguins within one game of advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Analysis:

Murray has been brilliant over the last three games, allowing just five total goals following a shaky Game 1 loss in which he conceded four. Washington has peppered him with 85 shots over the last two contests, but Murray has stood tall while the Penguins' offense has gradually made inroads on opposing goaltender Braden Holtby. The 21-year-old netminder is highly unlikely to be supplanted by Marc-Andre Fleury if he keeps playing like this.
