Blues' Brian Elliott: Nearly flawless in Game 3 win at home

Elliott turned away 25 of 26 shots to secure a 6-1 victory Tuesday in Game 3 against the Stars.

Analysis:

The Stars had not scored less than two goals yet this postseason, which should indicate the magnitude of Elliott's performance Tuesday. Dallas had the NHL's top offense during the regular season, but don't tell the 31-year-old that, as he's clearly not phased. If the 2003 ninth-round pick continues his solid play in the playoffs -- 2.40 GAA and .932 save percentage -- the Blues will be tough to crack.
