Capitals' Marcus Johansson: Misses practice with upper-body injury

Johansson was not on the ice with the team Tuesday due to an upper-body injury and will be reevaluated prior to Wednesday's Game 4 against Pittsburgh.

Analysis:

Johansson left Game 3 after taking a hard hit from Kris Letang, but returned to the ice and finished the contest. Skeptics will claim his absence is a tactical ploy to force the league into issuing a suspension to Letang, but Johansson was dealing with some neck issues despite clearing the concussion protocol, Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports. If the winger is unable to go, the Caps will need veterans Jason Chimera and Daniel Winnik to step up their production.
