Maatta (head) will not play Monday against the Capitals.

Maatta was unable to take part in Monday's morning skate, so it should come as little surprise that he will not take the ice Monday night. Maatta's replacement will not be announced until game time, though the team seems to trust Justin Schultz more than it does Derrick Pouliot.
