Reaves was in the active lineup for Sunday's Game 2 against the Stars, replacing Steve Ott who was a healthy scratch.

Analysis:

The move to Reaves was part of head coach Ken Hitchcock's larger strategy of the Blues being more aggressive -- to Hitchcock, that means more hits. Reaves set the tone early with a couple of first-period thumps and finished with five hits in 6:18 of ice time. After being out-hit in Game 1, the Blues were the aggressors in Game 2, out-hitting the Stars, 42-23. Expect more of the same going forward.
