GM Don Sweeney relayed Thursday that Beleskey could be facing offseason hand surgery, CSN New England reports.

Analysis:

Beleskey finished his first season in Boston with 15 goals and 37 points in 80 games, to go along with a team-high 260 hits. While a potential surgery to deal with his hand issue has yet to be finalized, there has been nothing to suggest that there is anything in play here that could impact the gritty winger's status for the 2016-17 season. Beleskey is under contract with the Bruins through the 2019-20 season, at an annual cap hit of $3.8 million.
