Ray Shero was a busy man Friday night.

The New Jersey Devils general manager put the finishing touches on his third signing of the evening, agreeing to a three-year entry-level contract with defenseman Joshua Jacobs.

The 20-year-old collected 24 points in 67 games with the OHL's Sarnia Sting this season. New Jersey drafted him 41st overall in 2014.

Jacobs' contract will begin next season, and he'll report to the AHL's Albany Devils on an amateur tryout agreement.

Earlier Friday, the Devils signed Boston College teammates Miles Wood and Steven Santini, both of whom were drafted by New Jersey in 2013.

Jacobs has some collegiate experience of his own, registering nine points in 35 games for Michigan State in 2014-15.
