Bernier will protect the blue paint against Philadelphia on Thursday, Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun reports.

Analysis:

Bernier has the unenviable task of being in goal with very little in terms of offensive help in front of him. While the 27-year-old's 11-21-3 record would indicate a down year, and he has indeed had some missteps, Bernier has also registered three shutouts with a .907 save percentage. In terms of fantasy value, any netminder playing in Toronto should probably be avoided, considering the team is dead last in the NHL.
