The Pittsburgh Pirates will put their three-game winning streak on the line Saturday against the Chicago Cubs without one of their top bats.

Marte was hit by a pitch on his left elbow Thursday, and has been a scratch ever since. However, the 25-year-old does have 26 stolen bases to this point, and could help the Pirates with his legs off the bench.
