Report: Ryan Miller could be moved this off-season
The Buffalo Sabres played their final home game of the 2012/13 season under a cloud of uncertainty.
The question on everyone's mind was an obvious one. Would Thomas Vanek and Ryan Miller, pillars of the franchise, be back next season?
Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports that while it seems like Vanek wants out of Buffalo this summer, the Sabres are more likely to trade Miller.
The 32-year-old from East Lansing has one more year left at $6 million on his contract. Harrington goes on to state Miller is tired of the 'fishbowl life' in Buffalo. Teams that could be interested in the former Vezina trophy winner could include Anaheim and St.Louis according to Harrington.
In 40 games Miller went 17-17-5 with a GAA of 2.81 and a .915 save percentage.
