Malhotra thinks he can still contribute

Manny Malhotra has addressed the media for the first time since he was placed on IR by the Vancouver Canucks. Malhotra said that while he understands the move, he still feels that he can play in the NHL and doesn't agree that he was a risk for further injury while on the ice. According to TSN's Farhan Lalji, Malhotra says that he doesn't question the sincerity of GM Mike Gillis but he still thinks he can contribute on the ice.
