Hossa had to be helped off the ice Tuesday after Vancouver winger Jannik Hansen hit him in the back of the head with his left forearm. He did not return.
We can't assume anything yet, but this is scary stuff considering Hossa suffered a nasty concussion in last season's playoffs and wasn't cleared to play again until December. Hossa only ended up skating 13:11 in the game, though he did score two goals before departing.
