Schneider's agent: "Only interested in resolution"

According to a report in the Vancouver Sun, the agent for Canucks goalie Cory Schneider, Mike Liut, is hoping a Roberto Luongo trade comes sooner rather than later.

"Our concern is we were hoping that this would be the year that Cory would play 75 per cent of the games. We are only interested in resolution, we are not going to get into the finger-pointing game and to that end you have to take a step back and you have to give them latitude to make a business decision."

He did however, bring up the thought of Luongo remaining with the team.

"Is Roberto going to be there all year?. "It's certainly looking like he's going to be or both will be there until the (April 3) trade deadline.

The Vancouver Canucks are currently on a three game winning streak, with Roberto Luongo earning all three wins. The projected number one goalie this year, Schneider, has not started a game for the club since a 4-1 loss to the San Jose sharks back on January 27th.

On the year, Luongo has a 3-0-2 record with a 1.53 GAA while Schneider is sporting a 2-2-0 record and a 3.13 GAA.
