Maple Leafs trade Lombardi to Coyotes

The Toronto Maple Leafs have traded Matthew Lombardi to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for a conditional 3rd or 4th round pick according to multiple sources.

The pick will be in the third round if Lombardi re-signs in Phoenix. The Leafs will continue to pay a portion of his salary according to the report.

Last season with Toronto, Lombardi had 8 goals and 10 assists in 62 games.
