Devils sign Zajac to long-term deal

The New Jersey Devils have announced that they have signed Travis Zajac to an eight-year, $46M deal. The deal will be the new CBA's first max-term deal and will also include a full no-trade clause.

Last season, in an injury shortened season, Zajac had 6 points in 15 games but rounded into form for the postseason putting up 14 points in 21 games to help the Devils reach the Stanley Cup finals. In 423 career games, Zajac has scored 91 goals to go along with 255 points and 128 penalty minutes.
