As part of a last-minute plea bargain Monday, Byfuglien admitted to one count of careless boating in August of 2011, while the two charges of boating under the influence of alcohol brought against him were dismissed before the scheduled trial began. The 27-year-old defenseman will serve two days worth of community service, according to James Turner of the Winnipeg Sun.

Analysis: Though much of this entire incident will forever remain a mystery, such as why Minnesota prosecutors continued on with a BUI charge against Byfuglien when by most accounts they had no evidence to corroborate such a claim, what is important for fantasy purposes is that "Big Buff" will not see any legal troubles compromise his availability in 2012-13.
