Maple Leafs sign Kulemin to two-year deal

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed left winger Nikolai Kulemin to a two-year, $5.6 million deal, according to multiple sources.

Kulemin, who was a restricted free agent, will earn $2.6 million in the first year of the contract and $3 million in the final year.

The 26-year-old Russian forward was drafted by the Maple Leafs in the second round of the 2006 entry draft. In four seasons with the Leafs, Kulemin has 68 goals and 84 assists for 152 points in 303 career games.
