The Pittsburgh Penguins have made an offer to unrestricted free agent Shane Doan, according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Doan's agent confirmed that his client "has interest" in the Penguins, but has made it clear that remaining in Phoenix is his first priority. Doan is waiting for the Coyotes to clear up their ownership situation before making any decisions.

Eleven teams are said to be interested in the forward, including the Canucks and Blackhawks.

Last season, he scored 22 goals and registered 28 assists in 79 games.
