Report: Doan offered 4 years, $30 million from East team

Unrestricted free agent forward Shane Doan has been offered a four-year contract worth over $30 million by an Eastern Conference team, according to John Gambadoro of Sports 620 KTAR Phoenix.

However, it was previously reported that the 35-year old wants to stay in the Western Conference in order to stay close to his family.

The right winger has posted 50 points or more in each of the last nine seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes.
