Canucks sign Jason Garrison to 6-year / $27.6M deal
The Vancouver Canucks added to their defensive end today, coming to terms with Jason Garrison on a six-year deal worth $ 27.6 million.
Garrison had a breakout year with the Florida Panthers this past season, averaging 23:41 in ice time, and recording 33 points in 77 games.
The 27-year-old native of Vancouver will fill the void of the recently departed Sami Salo, who was signed by the Tampa Bay Lightning to a two-year deal worth $7.5 million deal.
