Report: Oilers will keep number one pick

The Edmonton Oilers will not trade the number one overall pick in next Friday's NHL entry draft, according to Mark Spector.
The Oilers, who hold the number one pick for the third straight year, drafted Taylor Hall in 2010 and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins in 2011.
Sarnia Sting forward Nail Yakupov, who is the top-rated North American-based skater, visited with the Oilers earlier this month. He had 31 goals and 38 assists this past season with Sarnia as he was limited to 42 games due to a knee injury. The winger won OHL rookie of the year in 2010-11.
The Oilers are not expected to decide who they will pick until Thursday night or the morning of the draft, which is being held in Pittsburgh.
