Avs sign David Jones to 4-year deal
The Colorado Avalanche have signed right winger David Jones to a four-year, $16 million deal, according to the Denver Post.
The 27-year-old, Ontario native was drafted by the Avalanche in the 9th round of the 2003 draft. In five seasons with Colorado, Jones has recorded 67 goals and 50 assists in 239 games played.
Jones set career highs in the 2010-11 season with 27 goals and 18 assists, for 45 points.
