Devils' Marek Zidlicky day-to-day

New Jersey Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello refused to reveal the nature of the injury to Marek Zidlicky, but he did list the defenceman as day-to-day heading into the Eastern Conference finals, according to The Star-ledger.
Zidlicky was injured half way through the second period of Tuesday's Game 5 against the Philadelphia Flyers when he was hit into the boards by the Flyers' Wayne Simmonds. Zidlicky was forced from the game and he did not return.
Lamoriello said he was not concerned about Zidlicky's availability for the Eastern Conference finals, but he was unaware of any specific injuries because the team had the day off on Wednesday.
The Devils will face the winner of the New York Rangers, Washington Capitals series. The Rangers currently lead the best-of-seven series 3-2.
