The Vancouver Canucks may be without the services of forward Alex Burrows for the second time this season.
According to an on-air report on TEAM 1040 in Vancouver, Burrows suffered a broken jaw during Sunday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Burrows was hit in the face with the puck on this clearing attempt by team-mate Chris Tanev.
The report states Burrows required surgery and is out indefinitely, as per The Province.
Burrows missed more than three weeks earlier this season with a broken foot, and has yet to score a goal in 17 games since making his season début.
