James van Riemsdyk not close to return
It does not appear that Flyers forward James van Riemsdyk is close to returning, according to Sam Carchidi of philly.com.
The third-year winger, who has not played since January 12 with a concussion, says he still feels like he is 'in a fog'.
There had been speculation on Thursday that the New Jersey native would return for that evening's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 22-year old participated in a full practice on Wednesday and the Flyers sent down forward Harry Zolnierczyk to their AHL affiliate in Adirondack later that night.
It appears that van Riemsdyk, who has 11 goals and 11 assists in 37 games this season, remains out indefinitely.
