After capturing Super Bowl 50 as a member of the Denver Broncos, Brock Osweiler predicts more greatness in his immediate future playing for the Houston Texans.

Osweiler, who on Wednesday signed a four-year contract with the Texans, reportedly worth $72 million, is eager to get started with his new club, presumably as its starter for years to come.

"Coming to Houston was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up," Osweiler said, according to ESPN's Tania Ganguli. "What I see with this football team is something special. I believe this organization is on the cusp of doing something great. That's something I want to be a part of. I'm very excited to be here and just get to work."

Osweiler went 5-2 as the starter for the Broncos while Peyton Manning battled through a nagging foot injury during the regular season. However, Manning regained his starting role upon being declared healthy.

After winning a Super Bowl, albeit from the confines of the bench, Osweiler said his decision to leave the Broncos for Houston was tough to make.

"It was very difficult," Osweiler said. "I'd be lying to you if I said anything else. I had a tremendous four seasons there in Denver, and you know those are four years that I'll always hold very close to my heart."

With veteran experience in tow, Osweiler aims to bring the Texans their first Super Bowl victory in franchise history.

"Ultimately, a world championship," Osweiler said. "Bottom line, I believe that comes from a lot of hard work. I know this team already has guys in the locker room who bring leadership, who bring hard work to the table. My biggest deal is I just want to do my job. I want to contribute to this team in a positive manner and do whatever it takes to win a world championship."
