Boy, 12, disproves Deflategate at science fair

A young man named Ben Goodell (no relation to Roger) says he can prove New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady did not deflate footballs, CBS Boston reports.

His proof? Science.

The 12-year-old explored the issue for a science project, testing footballs in various weather conditions to determine whether or not the pressure dropped without any outside interference.

His peer-reviewed findings?

Every single time I did this test the PSI dropped at least 2 PSI. That means it was scientifically proven that Tom Brady didn’t deflate the footballs, and it was just the weather conditions.

Goodell received a top award in the seventh-grade science fair for his study, and the well-constructed Bristol board display his parents likely helped him with.

It's also likely he received extra marks for wearing a tie and combing his hair. Dress for the job you want.
