Jason Pierre-Paul isn't going anywhere.

The 27-year-old defensive end confirmed on Instagram that he will be returning to the New York Giants:

Pierre-Paul's new deal is reportedly a one-year contract, worth up to $10.5 million, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN

Pierre-Paul was believed to have had offers from several other teams around the league - and he confirmed as much by thanking the Arizona Cardinals for their interest - but reportedly turned down more money to return to the organization with which he's spent his entire NFL career.

With the 27-year-old coming off a season in which he missed the first half of the season with severe injuries suffered in a fireworks accident, both player and team will be hoping he can re-emerge as an impact playmaker.

Though he returned to the lineup and started in each of the eight games to close out the year, Pierre-Paul managed just one sack while playing with a large wrap on his hand.

Pierre-Paul had been considered one of the league's most explosive edge rushers over the five years prior, recording 43 sacks and earning two Pro Bowl appearances after being selected in the first round of the 2010 draft.
