The Los Angeles Rams plan to open a temporary practice facility near Thousand Oaks, Calif., head coach Jeff Fisher said, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer.

If the facility cannot be completed in time for the start of the season, it's possible that the Rams could practice at the University of California, Irvine during that interim period.

Players and team personnel met Friday in Manhattan Beach, Calif., for a question-and-answer session to discuss the team's move to Los Angeles from St. Louis. Fisher confirmed that approximately 80 percent of the team showed up at the meeting, per Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News.

It was intended to be a players-only meeting, but players were encouraged to bring their families for the weekend trip, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times.

"It's a weekend for them in L.A. We just want to give them information," Fisher said.
