The Baltimore Ravens will meet with quarterback Joe Flacco's agent Friday to discuss a new contract to reduce his cap hit over the next two seasons, according to Albert Breer of NFL Network.

The idea of a contract restructuring has been floated for the franchise quarterback who will count $28.6 million, and $31.2 million against the cap over the next two years, but an extension is another possibility.

Flacco has three years left on the six-year, $120-million deal he signed in 2013 and will have the highest cap hit of any NFL player in 2017.

With the Ravens only approximately $4.5 million under the projected 2016 cap, the franchise is looking to redistribute salary as they also try to sign offensive tackle Kelechi Osemele.
