Report: Mohamed Sanu unlikely to re-sign with Bengals

Mohamed Sanu may have played his last game with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Sources tell Alex Marvez of FOX Sports that there is little to no chance the wide receiver re-signs with the Bengals and he will instead be pursuing opportunities elsewhere when free agency opens March 9.

The Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and New York Giants are among the teams expected to show interest in Sanu, according to Marvez.

Sanu has spent his entire career in Cincinnati after being selected in the third-round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He saw his role diminish last season with Marvin Jones and Tyler Eifert returning from injuries, which admittedly bothered him.

"I think about that all the time," he told Marvez during a recent appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "When you've got so much talent on one team, it's hard to get the ball. It definitely crossed my mind going elsewhere. We've just got to see how everything unfolds."
