According to John Gonzalez of CSN Philly, the District Attorney's office is "pushing back" against potential arrest warrants for LeSean McCoy and three others involved in an alleged assault of two off-duty police officers at a Philadelphia night club in early February.

Analysis:

The Philadelphia Police Department completed its investigation of the confrontation more than a week ago, but the D.A.'s office has seemingly delayed issuing warrants for McCoy and company due to the conduct of the officers involved in the fracas. In particular, the D.A.'s office is attempting to determine if the officers were drinking excessively and why they failed to call 9-1-1. These particular officers instead transported themselves to local hospitals for treatment, while a third member of the group, a sergeant, filed a report two days after the incident. While the D.A.'s office attempts to parse out any lingering questions, a press conference and subsequent dissemination of charges isn't imminent.
