The Bills are reportedly planning to cut ties with Williams due to a "clear, fundamental disconnect" between the pass rusher and Rex Ryan's coaching staff, Chris Weaseling of NFL.com reports.

Analysis:

By most people's perspective, Williams had a pathetic season where he produced only five sacks and somehow logged just 19 tackles over 15 games. He seemed to be constantly at odds with Ryan's defensive philosophy, to the point where a couple of younger teammates called out Williams' effort later in the season. The team can $12.9 million in salary cap space if they let Williams go, something that's starting to sound like more of a matter of when, not if.
