Damon Harrison won't be tuning in for the highly anticipated Super Bowl 50 matchup between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.

The New York Jets defensive tackle said Sunday that he'll instead be playing video games, continuing to avoid the big event until he has the opportunity to take part himself.

New York narrowly missed out on a playoff berth this year, finishing the regular season at an impressive 10-6 mark before losing out on a wild-card spot after a tiebreaker.

Having established himself as one of the NFL's most dominant run defenders, Harrison would have a significant impact on whether the Jets can take the next step and reach the Super Bowl in the near future.
